Gothic Poetry Generator!

I thought this kind of funny yet fascinating. In the 7th grade, I believe it was my English class, we had this guest poet come in and teach us this method of poetry. This guy was the coolest hippie I've ever met. He somehow convinced all of us it was ok to smoke pot by telling us that marijuana kills brain cells....but of course in our lifetime we don't even use half of our brain so it's ok. The teachers face was priceless, some sort of shock with a smirk and a giggle added in.

It was very interesting and a few of us made some very deep, meaningful stuff. I wish I could dig it up, and I will someday and share it with you all. I know it's here somewhere in my mounds of papers.

Well I found this Blog (Goth-O-Matic Poetry Generator) and it reminds me so much of this method so I made my little version of my gothic poetry




death deserved

what have you ruined?
a shadow of agony as sentiments crawl.
once we drank of heaven,
glad-hearted and wide-eyed,
but your thirst paled.
a furious throng of pain -
thoughts follow night, follow rain,
love consumed.
in a torrent of bitterness,
i reject you.
