Michael comes home withing the next month and we have decided to buy a new home. I've just come to the realizatioin that I need a job. I can't stay home all day and play World of Warcraft. I still work at Hot Topic, but it is only one day a week right now. I was told that I could get my old management position back, unfortunately, the District Manager that told me this is no longer with the company. I'm sure I could probably get the position back, but there is this problem with my daughter going to 1/2 day kindergarten. I'll tell you it is fucked up. It inconveniences so many parents that want to work. But enough bitching.
I need a job. Part-time or full-time, it doesn't matter. I would love to do an office job that requires no dress code. Any job that requires no dress code. That's one of the reasons I love working at HT. Of course, this is not always practical because society still has its head up its ass. Either way I need to find a job.

Life..It Hits You Like A Truck!
Ah, back from Hawaii! Wow, where do I begin? So many things to take care of since I've been gone. House, bills, school, work, MMO's...back to my real life again.
Not even an hour outside trimming the bushes and I can't take it anymore. I'll finish the other two bushes later. Just from cutting those two shrubs, I have become more tanned, I'm on the verge of being toasted crispy from all that sun in Hawaii and now lets add another layer of burned skin. I hate this tan!
My landlord called me the other morning. He wants to put this house on the market again. You know what that means? It means random people will be dropping by to look at your personal belongings in the house that they might buy. I hate that! OK, we're moving. Not sure if we're renting or if we're buying, but we need to get out of this house. To this very day, we still do not have a lease or rental agreement. Are we even supposed to be living here? So I've been looking at houses. Nice houses, really cheap right now, good first time home buyer programs. Now to wait for Michael to come home to us.
My bills have been piling up while I was on vacation. My credit card conveniently expired while I was in Hawaii. No I'm not that incompetent. I did call before I left Hawaii to see if they could send it to me earlier or send it to me there. Of course not! I figure I can afford to wait til I come back to pay my bills. I have that taken care of.
The girls need to be registered for school. Uggh, maybe next week, they don't start til the end of this month anyway. They need school clothes and school supplies. Again, next week.
I go back to work tomorrow at 11. Notice it is 5 o'clock in the morning and I still haven't gone to bed yet. Yep I'm good on that one. Maybe I'll just stay up and play WoW til I have to get ready for work. Good idea!

Almost done!
I haven't really been posting anything in my blogs, except for my mobile blog. I am still on vacation in Hawaii. Sadly, all good things must come to an end. I have less than a week left here. I think we've been here long enough. I got to see my oldest daughter that I miss very much, she's grown up so much. I have seen my family and had nice long conversations with them. I met up with a few of my very good friends and hope to meet a few more, although I know I won't.
The first thing I noticed when I stepped off of the plane and out of the airport terminal is the smell. Hawaii has the nicest smell. Definitely a good change from smelling the air in Las Vegas, which is very comparable to dirt. There are so many things that amazes me when I see it. The beaches are so nice here. The weather is hot and humid, but bearable and it is a nice change. There is always a cool breeze blowing and of course that sweet smell. I remember why I never really used lotion here, my skin is so soft because of the moisture in the air. Oh the rain, I miss Hawaii rain. You can run around and play in the rain without worrying about getting struck by lightning. I even miss the water here. Not just the beach water, I miss the tap water. Never too cold and always good to drink straight out of the pipes.
There's always the bad things about a place, but I really don't mind most of it since I have lived with them for over 20 years. I never fail to pick up that pigeon english accent whenever I talk to my grandma on the phone. Can you imagine me here? I was never very fond of the pigeon accent, no offense to everyone here but, I think it sounds stupid. But of course, I catch myself talking like that too.
Then there is all the critters that run around. I am so used to not having them around. Definitely had to adjust the girls to them. Lizards, geckos, roaches and ants mostly, I still don't mind.
Sweat! So much sweating here! The weather is nice but I could do without sweating like a pig.
I'm glad I got to bring the girls to Hawaii to see what it's all about. My girls don't want to leave. They want to live here. It probably won't happen. We'll be back though. We did get those free tickets, so when Michael gets back from his "vacation" in Iraq, we'll be thinking of taking another trip to Hawaii.
