Too bad, it was a pretty short set. They could only play about 5 songs. Hopefully, they will be back in Vegas for a longer and more intimate show for the fans. At the end, they mentioned they were going to meet people outside by the vendors, so me and the girls stood in line to see them. There was a lady wearing a red polo dress thingy walking around with a clipboard asking if people wanted to sign up for the DD email list. I added my email and she asked the girls a few questions. They were offering CDs for sale and since we already have it we didnt need one. But, when we got up to the front of the line, the lady gave us a CD for free for Amanda and Brian to sign for the girls...sweet!! Thank you lady :) We took some pictures (damn my crappy blurry camera) and then went back into the concert for a little while.
We stayed for a couple of Debby Harry songs, while Ember danced around. Raven said she wanted to go home, so we got ready to leave and saw that Amanda and Brian were finished signing autographs and most of their fans were gone, so Raven and Ember went up to them and gave them hugs...too bad I'm slow, I couldn't take pictures. The lady with the red dress was there so I asked if she could take a picture of all of us....
I'm glad the girls were able to go, every kid remembers their first concert. What a better concert to remember then this one?

Aw, what a cool first concert for your kids. My first concert was Rick Springfield & Sparks. Although, come to think of it, they would've fit right in on Friday night too, huh? :) Anyway, I was just doing a search for other blog entries about the concert, and I came across yours. I'm glad you decided to buy tickets at the last minute. It was a fun show.
